Discusses longitudinal research on sex-role attitudes during college and 15 years later among 231 college-age dating couples. Findings reveal significant links between sex-role attitudes and dating relationships but not relationship satisfaction. Fifteen years later, sex roles were largely unrelated to general patterns of marriage, childbearing, and employment for either sex. (GLR)
