This article suggests some approaches that the emerging scholar can use in efforts aimed at building a record of scholarly publication. Some of the suggestions include: (1) determining areas of strength; (2) deciding on the project; (3) choosing the appropriate journals; (4) preparing the manuscript; (5) waiting for the results; and (6) accepting the conclusion.
