Results of a followup of preschool participants in the Retrieval and Acceleration of Promising Young Handicapped and Talented (RAPYHT) program, which stresses in-depth assessment, programing, and parent involvement, revealed that project Ss who had been diagnosed as handicapped during preschool were performing at or above grade level academically in elementary school.
