Examines the effect of community changes on the distribution pattern of delinquency in Chicago, Illinois, between 1940 and 1970. Findings from a 1942 study that distributional patterns of delinquency remained stable despite racial and ethnic invasion and succession are reexamined using data collected over three subsequent ten-year periods.
