This article deals with the birthrates and reproductive attitudes of young people in Karachai-Cherkessia. In this article, the author discusses a survey that was designed to account for different factors of reproductive behavior among the main ethnic groups in Karrachai-Cherkessia. Judging by the results of the survey, one of the most important factors that affect reproductive attitudes in the region is the level of material sufficiency in the family. Among other things, the author discusses other factors including, the factor of income and health. (Contains 3 tables.)
