Analyzes attitudes of adolescents (14 to 18 years old) toward new technology. Investigations reveal that adolescents' attitudes are pragmatic rather than evaluative, and strongly related to psychological factors, such as self-esteem, influence of Protestant work ethic; educational factors, such as science or computers in school; and familial backgrounds.
