A Study of Coordination Between Mathematics and Chemistry in the Pre-Technical Program.
Loiseau, Roger A.
This research was undertaken to determine whether the mathematics course offered to students taking courses in chemical technology was adequate. Students in a regular class and an experimental class were given mathematics and chemistry pretests and posttests. The experimental class was taught using a syllabus designed to maximize the coherence between the mathematics and chemistry courses. No significant differences were found. (SD)
