When a Canadian government documents listing was distributed over the Internet, differences were revealed in the design and implementation of print, FTP, Gopher and World Wide Web versions. Publishing form was found to affect: ability to provide specific editions for target audiences, amount of information delivered at one time, presentation format of bibliographic information, and degree of interactive possibility.
