The Effect of Population Growth upon the Quantity of Education Children Receive.
Simon, Julian L.; Pilarski, Adam M.
Review of Economics and Statistics, v61 n4 p572-84 Nov 1979
There is indeed some negative effect of population growth on the amount of education in developing nations, but the effect is less severe than has been thought. This finding is in sharp contrast to previous conclusions drawn from similar cross-national data. Available from Review of Economics and Statistics, M-8 Littauer Center, Cambridge, MA 02138; sc $10.
