Marchant) provides an alternate view of library personnel as important contributors to the decision- making process. The fourth paper, "Making Human Resource Decisions" (Richard E. Rubin) focuses on identifying information sources, as well as psychological and social factors, involved in human resource decisions. The fifth paper, "The Role of Leadership in Planning: A Frank and Candid Analysis of the Realities of Planning in the Public Sector" (Nancy Bolt) examines advantages and disadvantages of five planning processes. The sixth paper, "Remembrances of Things Past" (Tom Eadie) addresses the environment in which leadership and decision-making occurs. All papers contain references. (AEF)
