The call for papers on team teaching came to the authors at an almost perfect time because they are three quarters through their first rendition of their freshly minted team-taught course. Although they feel a little like chefs who are still tweaking the seasoning on their new gourmet creation when the servers come to fetch it, their information is real time. In keeping with the team-teaching theme, the authors are approaching this as team writing so readers can see from both viewpoints why and how the course evolved. In this article, the authors explain their culinary efforts in spicing up an MBA writing course with new ingredients, transforming the typical recipe for professional-level writing pedagogy into more gourmet fare.
