Transforming Education for Urban Learners
Williams, Gary L.
Multicultural Learning and Teaching, v5 n2 p106-111 Sep 2010
Education reform in America remains illusive for children. Reform efforts in the past have meant simply tweaking the different components of the education system (i.e., teachers, curriculum, and standards). The call-to-action must be to transform the system to a more holistic approach that recognizes students? needs. This article addresses how to foster concrete reform programs in this age of change.
