Otitis Media in Early Childhood and Its Relationship to Later Phonological Development.
Roberts, Joanne Erwick; And Others
Journal of Speech and Hearing Disorders, v53 n4 p424-32 Nov 1988
Examination of 55 socioeconomically disadvantaged children found no significant relationship between otitis media in early childhood and number of common phonological processes or consonants in error used during preschool years. However, otitis media in early childhood was associated with total number of phonological processes used by children between 4:6-8 years. (Author/JDD)
