This book contains supplementary material for a British self-study course in management designed as an introduction to the course for the Certificate in Management Studies. The materials in this book are learning activities referenced to various topics in the course materials. The nine activities include a case study of a production supervision problem and various activities related to it, such as making an organizational chart, looking for problem-solving methods, analyzing a job description, and so forth. Answers for six of the activities are presented in the appendixes, while the other three activities could be discussed in tutoring sessions. (KC)
