The purpose of this study is to investigate the pre-service Turkish teachers' lateral thinking dispositions with regard to different variables. The research is a descriptive study which was structured according to the correlational survey model. The sample of the study consists of a total of 197 pre-service teachers studying in the Faculty of Education in Tokat Gaziosmanpasa University in 2018-2019 academic year. The Lateral Thinking Disposition scale (LATD) developed by Semerci (2016) was used in the study. The data obtained were analyzed via SPSS 22 Windows software.
