Surviving TIMSS: Or, Everything You Blissfully Forgot About International Comparisons.
Baker, David P.
Phi Delta Kappan, v79 n4 p295-300 Dec 1997
So far, results from the massive Third International Mathematics and Science Study indicate that American students have not yet achieved national goal number 5--to be first in the world in math and science achievement by 2000. Reasons, rationale, and future implications are discussed. (21 references) (MLH)
