The first item in the April-May 1985 issue is a learning styles inventory with accompanying lesson plan and administration quidelines developed by Patrick Suessmuth. The next item, "Tips of Training" by Bob Peterson, is a question-and-answer discussion of training techniques. Provided next is a brief article by Patrick Suessmuth entitled "Guidelines for Perceiving Others from Their Perspective." Art Horrox discusses the use of behavioral objectives in computer-assisted instruction (CAI) and provides a practice exercise in an article entitled"CAI--Abbreviated Objectives." The concluding article, "Weighty Books for Trainers" by Patrick Suessmuth and Bill Cumberland, lists recommended books dealing with the following areas of training: administration, communications, course design, evaluation, group dynamics and process, instructional techniques, learning theory, labor force planning, personal and organizational interface, research and development, training equipment and materials, and training needs analysis.
