"Are Girls 'Youth'?" (Shirley Sampson) and "The Culture of Our High Schools and Its Impact on Girls" (Margaret Vickers) focus on sex fairness issues. In "School and Work: Some Teacher and Student Perspectives," Lyle Munro reports on the impact of students' part-time work.
