The organizations include foundations, corporations, and government and nonprofit agencies. Descriptions are provided for 13 organizations that provide educational grants and 5 organizations that provide miscellaneous grant or fellowship opportunities. Information is also given on the types of projects funded and their application procedures, along with the contact address. The organizations that provide educational grants are as follows: the Benton Foundation, the Bush Foundation, Carnegie Corporation of New York, the Charles E. Culpeper Foundation, Educational Testing Service, the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education, Government of the District of Columbia, the Edward W. Hazen Foundation, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, the W. K. Kellogg Foundation, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, National Cash Register, and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
