Today, students are making major investments to pursue higher education, which they correctly see as an opportunity to grow and challenge themselves and to develop skills that will better prepare them for their future. While students work hard to succeed in higher education, the last thing they should ever have to worry about is whether they are safe on campus. This hearing of the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions examines campus safety, focusing on improving prevention and response efforts.
