Self-Efficacy Development in School Leaders: An Alternate Paradigm
Ketelle, Diane
AASA Journal of Scholarship & Practice, v2 n1 p3-6 Spr 2005
Although self-efficacy is an area of self-cognition that has been well explored in psychology, teacher education and business management, it has not been investigated or related to school leadership. In this article the author presents an example of how her administrative credential students developed greater efficacy perceptions through a leadership assignment. The author suggests that the success of the assignment has implications for leadership preparation curriculum development.
