Environmental Education, Values for the Future: Environmental Decisions. Grades 9-12.

This booklet on environmental decisions is one in a series on environmental education for grades K-12. The activities are designed to involve high school students actively in the decision making process. The effect of using laws as a vehicle for environmental improvement is also explored. Five basic behavioral objectives are developed with subject areas and activities. There are three optional activities per objective and each includes a listing of materials and resources, procedures, and discussion questions. The activities are interdisciplinary and contain mathematics problems, games and simulations, role-playing, and case studies. Illustrations, sample worksheets, and readings are also given. (MA)
