A Field Guide for Change Facilitators Working with Low-Performing Schools
Miller, Bruce; Campbell, Jean
Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory (NWREL)
The Field Guide for Change Facilitators Working With Low-Performing Schools was written to assist those working with schools in the improvement process, especially low-performing ones. As a primer for change facilitators, this research-based guide is arranged in sections so that the user can easily find needed information on specific topics. Threaded through each section are school stories, which are compilations of relevant experiences derived from facilitation work with low-performing and other schools. In addition to school stories, each section concludes with a bibliography related specifically to that section. A full bibliography, compiled from each of the sections and related resources, is found at the conclusion of the guide. Readers are encouraged to mine these listings for more indepth perspectives. A bibliography is provided at the end of each section, as well as a complete bibliography at the end of the guide.
