McDonald, Lex
Teacher Education and Practice, v25 n2 p271-286 Spr 2012
In this article, I am concerned with three key issues of teacher professional development--teacher learning, motivation, and transfer of learning. Each issue has received minimal attention in teacher professional development literature. The three issues are discussed, and a model of an integrative professional development approach is outlined, with the key features of teacher motivation and learning linked to transfer.
