Most parents and educators agree that playing an instrument offers wide ranging benefits to students of all ages and backgrounds. Specifically, they want people who know how to work hard, are self-reliant and responsible, can focus well and avoid distractions, will pay attention to details, are creative, and will persevere on a project from beginning to end.
