Designed as an exploratory study, this article represents an initial explication of the world of the Christian school head, an underresearched area of school leadership. Primarily drawing upon a small purposive sample of respondents in the field, the researchers used qualitative interviewing to develop a narrative describing the complexities of Hunter's (2010) construct, "faithful presence." Under this emergent theme, the personhood and essential relationships out of which the Christian school head works were also explicated. Finally, the complexities in managing the multidimensional understandings of Christian school outcomes were explored. (Contains 8 notes and 2 tables.)
