Student Perceptions regarding Vocational High School Teachers' Problem Solving Methods against Undesired Behaviors in Classroom Management

Teachers' classroom management approach varies depending on several factors such as the social, psychological, cultural and educational status of the student, classroom level, the physical conditions of the school, organization structure. There are different approaches in classroom management. These approaches are gathered under three headings in the study as communication, pressure-threatening and physical punishment methods. In the study, it is aimed at identifying the problem solving methods of vocational high school teachers based on student opinions. According to student opinions, it is found out that teachers mostly apply warning loudly among the communication methods and they apply the physical punishment method the least. Based on these findings, recommendations are given for the administrators and teachers. (Contains 6 tables.)
