International, High-Ability Adventures: An Interview with Miraca Gross

This article presents an interview with Dr. Miraca Gross, Professor of Gifted Education, and Director of the Gifted Education Research, Resource, and Information Centre (GERRIC), at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Dr. Gross is a leading international authority on the education of gifted and talented children, particularly in the areas of ability grouping, acceleration, socioaffective development, and the highly gifted. She has won several international research awards. In 2003, Dr. Gross was awarded the Sir Harold Wyndham Medal for service to Australian Education. In the interview, Dr. Gross shares her experiences that led her to the field of gifted education.
