The Transformative Promise of "Greenfield" Schooling
Hess, Frederick M.
Phi Delta Kappan, v91 n5 p49-53 Feb 2010

Greenfield schooling presumes that the greatest challenge to improving teaching and learning is the bureaucratic, rule-driven education system and that it is important to create an environment in which innovation can flourish.
