Reconsidering Campus Diversity: An Examination of Muslim Students' Experiences
Cole, Darnell; Ahmadi, Shafiqa
Journal of Higher Education, v81 n2 p121-139 Mar-Apr 2010
This study examined whether Muslim students' college experiences, GPA, and satisfaction were different from their non-Muslim peers. Muslim students were more engaged in diversity-related activities, but were less satisfied with their college experience than Jewish students. The implications suggest extending the scope of campus diversity beyond race to include religion. (Contains 4 tables.)
