The Doctoral Cohort Model: Increasing Opportunities for Success

Participation in a doctoral program cohort significantly increases the chances for the successful completion of the course of studies for all members of the cohort. After examining the concept of the cohort and the current research literature, the author shares her experiences in the Ed. D., Instructional Leadership program at Western Connecticut State University, Danbury, Connecticut.
