Where Are All the Real Women in Higher Education?
Presidency, v11 n3 p27-29 Fall 2008
As organizations like the American Council on Education are seeking to advance women in higher education, and many of them are approaching (or avoiding) retirement age, many women with great potential are questioning whether a leadership opportunity in higher education is for them. As a new generation of women leaders prepares to enter the higher education job market, the author examines the opportunities that await them, and the ways colleges and universities can encourage their advancement.
