Siegle, Del
Understanding Our Gifted, v17 n4 p6-8 Sum 2005
Greater opportunities exist now for meeting the needs of gifted and talented students than ever before. Even though the Internet is still in its infancy, the depth and breath of available information that it offers make it a versatile and extensive resource for developing talent. While individuals often view the Internet as a giant library, its role goes well beyond this. Several uses of the Internet with gifted and talented students are particularly worth noting. The Internet can be used for the following: (1) Advanced and Accelerated Classes; (2) Telementoring; (3) Electronic Books; (4) Publishing Platform; (5) Interactive Projects; and (6) Information Resource.
