Stanford, Duke, Rice,... and Gates?
Chronicle of Higher Education, v55 n41 pA22 Jul 2009
This article presents an open letter to Bill Gates. In his letter, the author suggests that Bill Gates should build a brand-new university, a great 21st-century institution of higher learning. This university will be unlike anything the world has ever seen. He asks Bill Gates not to stop helping existing colleges create the higher-education system this nation needs. But he should not wait for them, either. Gates can start that future today. Gates University will be his gift to the world--and the worlds to come.
