Showcasing Faculty Experiences with Technology Enhanced Teaching and Learning
Naidu, Som; Cunnington, David
AACE Journal, v12 n2 p141-154 Apr 2004
This paper describes a research project that seeks to explore the experience of faculty with technology-enhanced teaching and learning. A particular focus of this investigation is on how the use of information and communications technology is influencing teaching practices and students' approaches to learning at the University of Melbourne. This is a naturalistic inquiry into the experience base of faculty who have been engaged in technology-enhanced teaching and learning. Our goal is to look beyond the existing, often rather superficial, data and examine closely how information and communications technology is influencing the nature of the teaching and learning transactions. We are interested in the "untold" stories of academics. These stories and reflections of academics are archived on the following website. See http://dozer.infodiv.unimelb.edu.au/tales/tales.php.
