The vignettes presented in this article indicate that today's schools are made up of diverse groups of students including those from a variety of religious and spiritual backgrounds. Students feel safe and are better able to learn when issues of diversity are handled with sensitivity. This article provides guidelines and strategies for helping educators and students understand, accept, and value religious and spiritual diversity. (Contains 2 tables and 1 figure.)
