This year marks the 10th year of publication for "Measurement in Physical Education and Exercise Science" (MPEES). As we are forging into future, it would be very helpful to evaluate the role MPEES has played in the evolution of the research in physical education and exercise science. In this issue, the authors address the challenges that MPEES has been facing. In this essay, editor-in-chief of MPEES Yuanlong Liu shares some thoughts on these informative articles.
