Baker, Elizabeth A.
Learning & Leading with Technology, v35 n7 p18-21 May 2008
Even those teachers with the best intentions of taking advantage of the Internet to support learning may have obstacles before them. In researching the problem, the author has heard their complaints and understands some of the difficulties. However, creating a classroom Web site is not as difficult as one might think. In this article, the author describes three methods a teacher may use in creating a Web site for his/her classroom. These include: (1) Web Site Providers; (2) Blogs, Groups, and Wikis; and (3) Be Your Own Developer. (Contains 3 tables and 3 resources.)
