Interview with Dr. Charles Nolan: Dean of Admissions, Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering

This article presents an interview with Dr. Charles Nolan, the former Dean of Admission at the Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, in Needham, Massachusetts. Chartered in 1997, Olin College has taken a new approach to undergraduate engineering education by providing its students with both a solid engineering background and knowledge in the liberal arts and business. All students receive full tuition scholarships for all four years of their education, funded by the F.W. Olin Foundation. Dr. Nolan is a leader in the field of enrollment management, and is recognized for his use of innovative recruiting techniques and unique approaches to the admission process. As of November 1, 2003, he is the Vice Provost of Enrollment Management at Santa Clara University.
