Variety and Preparation Are Keys to Classroom Management
Moore, Patience
Teaching Music, v15 n3 p57 Dec 2007
Elementary music teachers walk a thin line between encouraging enthusiasm and allowing Cat in the Hat mayhem in the classroom. A teacher is not doing his or her job if the students are not experiencing excitement with music, but they can't do their job when the classroom becomes a playground. In this article, the author discusses the importance of variety and preparation on classroom management.
