The books for professionals are reviewed in terms of their coverage of historical overview, epidemiology, classification, assessment, specific disorders, etiology, treatment, outcome or course, developmental issues, comorbidity, prevention, and research-practice integration. Books designed for parents are reviewed in terms of their coverage of the types of problems, etiology, approach to treatment, developmental issues, advice on help-seeking, and relation of anxiety to other problems.
