Teaching Science to Middle School Students with Learning Problems
Steele, Marcee
Science Scope, v29 n2 p50-51 Oct 2005
Students with mild disabilities can be successful in the middle school science classroom if teachers provide modifications, accommodations, and interventions that are appropriate. The examples suggested in this paper provide a few ideas to make the challenge of teaching students with learning problems a little easier for students and teachers. However, most of these strategies would benefit students without disabilities as well.
