Underlying Components of Scores Assessing African Americans' Racial Perspectives
Kelly, Shalonda
Measurement and Evaluation in Counseling and Development, v37 n1 p28 Apr 2004
Underlying pro- and anti-Black components accounted for significant variance in various racial scale scores among African Americans (N = 224). Intercorrelations for individual racial scale scores were consistent with theory and accounted for significant variance in psychological distress scores in patterns consistent with their representation of a pro-Black, anti-Black, or mixed perspective.
