A Collective Case Study of Nursing Students with Learning Disabilities.

Data from seven nursing students with learning disabilities were analyzed using Stake's model for collective case studies. Five themes emerged: struggle, learning to learn with disabilities, time, social support, and personal stories. Direct instruction, structure, consistency, clear directions, organization, and positive instructor attitudes were helpful; anxiety, social isolation, and limited time were hindrances.
