Comparing the Self-Concept of Students with and without Learning Disabilities.

A study compared self-concept in 50 Hispanic middle school children with learning disabilities and 70 controls. Differences were found between the groups on the Intellectual and Social Status and Behavior subscales of the Piers-Harris Children's Self-Concept Sale, with controls scoring higher on both scales.
