Examined the effect of adding a computerized, curriculum-based, instructional management system to enhance mathematics instruction in low-income, urban schools. Contrasted math test performance gains for students in treatment and control groups (same-school and district-wide math instruction-only groups). Students in classrooms in which teachers used the instructional management system showed positive outcomes, particularly in classrooms where teachers implemented the intervention to a greater degree.
