A Quantitative Evaluation of Curriculum Laboratory Schools in Turkey.

A school improvement project in Turkey included 208 schools as Curriculum Laboratory Schools (CLSs). To evaluate the effectiveness of these schools, data were collected from 13 principals, 22 assistant principals, and 306 teachers from 7 primary and 4 high schools in 1 province. Findings indicated that the project provided some technical opportunities but failed to address the human dimension of the system. (MLF)
