Sturges, Jane; Simpson, Ruth; Altman, Yochanan
International Journal of Training and Development, v7 n1 p53-66 Mar 2003
Canadian Master of Business Administration graduates (n=30) indicated that completion of the master's program enhanced the career competencies of knowing-how (hard and soft skills), knowing-why (career values, meanings), and knowing-whom (networking). Knowing-why was rated most important. Increased self-confidence was a valuable form of career capital. The three competencies were found to be interrelated. (Contains 46 references.) (SK)
