Behrens, Mariana; Bryant, Beverly A.; Mason, Sylvia A.
Journal of Early Education and Family Review, v10 n2 p18-25 Nov-Dec 2002
This study examined the level of participation in and attitudes toward the Head Start program and its services among Hispanic parents in two North Carolina counties. Survey findings suggested that although parents were satisfied with Head Start services received, only 44 percent agreed that they received services in Spanish when they needed it. Only 56 percent indicated that the school provided them information in Spanish about their child's school progress. (KB)
