Student Teachers and Their Students: Do Their Instructional and Learning Preferences Match?

The Canfield Learning Styles Inventory and Canfield Instructional Styles Inventory were completed by 15 career and technical education student teachers; learning styles for the students of 3 teachers were measured. A majority of teachers prefer a high degree of organization and activities involving others. Only modest correlations between student teachers' and students' learning styles were found.
